I'm not sure which approach would make the most sense. Didn't realize that it was intentional until now. Just thought it was some oddity happening when the topic author ext was activated. :lol:

You pondering a name change? ProOcean

Looks like your bored smilie got real bored and left. :roll:

Yea I took that code of Martin's out. I'll have to put a max-width: 100px; back in to keep large avatars like mine from crowding the page.

Problue is the style name but with the colour changer there will be a pro-green, pro-red, pro-black, pro-blue and my pro-ocean-blue. Plus whatever other color I put in there.

Now I need to put style credits in footer and get the sidebar back into place.

Did some looking around as a guest on the latest version and noticed this. It's happening due to the tatiana5 - profileSideSwitcher extension.

EDIT: This ext has several styles that it needed a separate directory for with it's own images and css. I have the online working ok. Looks like the css needs some input for the offline image as most styles don't have one. adding a zip of what I have so far.

As far as the who was here ext, in your previous version you had a collapse arrow like the other aspects of the stats block. Was that just an edit of the ext or part of the style stat block code?

The links to am I responsive and html5 in the footer would be a good idea to keep if your interested but just admins seeing it. 8-)

Only other thing I could ask atm would be about another ext. The Board Announcements (1.0.5) ext. I have an edit in for aero black to do the same as the panel does in the stat block. I looked at the ext code and there isn't a class to put the "panel" in. Would you mind taking a look at that one if you get a chance and see where the edit would need to go. :thankyouyellow: NOTE: the bg color of the announcement is adjustable in the ext. Just went default for example. :lol:

I would copy the two online offline images into that side switcher ext theme/en/ directory. And edit the stylesheet.

Code: Select all

/* Mini profiles on the left */
.leftsided .online .postprofile {
	background: url("./icon_user_online.gif") right top no-repeat;
}
.leftsided .offline .postprofile {
	background: url("./icon_user_offline.gif") right top no-repeat;
}
.offline {
	background: none;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 700px), only screen and (max-device-width: 700px) {
	.leftsided .online .postprofile {
		background: none;
	}
	.leftsided .offline .postprofile {
		background: none;
	}
	.leftsided .post.online {
		background-image: url("./icon_user_online.gif");
	}
	.leftsided .post.offline {
		background-image: url("./icon_user_offline.gif");
	}
}
The who was here still has the arrow on it. Did you create a problue directory in that ext and use the correct template with panel and arrow? You can see the template here in stk. I don't know why your arrow is gone.

Board announcement is installed here. You would,t put .panel in the class for announcement. You would use more like .rules class. I'm not sure what you are asking for here. It works fine as is from what I see.

The who was here I had just copied the template and put it into a problue directory. I copied the file from here and all is good. :lol:

added your edits for profile switcher and both images are showing correctly. :thankyouyellow:

What I was thinking on the announcements was trying to get it to blend in with the rest of the style a bit. That's why I was thinking something like the "panel" that is used in the stats block. To give it some styling consistent with the overall style.

You can see the change I added for aero black so it picks up the overall style. It adds a border around the announcement. Hope this helps explain it. :roll:

Try this for the template

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT -->
<!-- INCLUDEJS @phpbb_boardannouncements/js/boardannouncements.js -->
<div id="phpbb_announcement">
	<div class="forumbg forumbg-table">
		<div class="inner">
			<table class="table1">
			<thead>
				<th style="text-align: left">{L_ANNOUNCEMENT}</th>
			</thead>
			<tbody>
				<td class="reported phpbb_announcement"<!-- IF BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT_BGCOLOR --> style="background-color:#{BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT_BGCOLOR}"<!-- ENDIF -->>
					<i class="icon fa-exclamation-triangle fa-fw icon-red" aria-hidden="true"></i>{BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT}
					<!-- IF S_BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT_DISMISS --><a href="{U_BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT_CLOSE}" data-ajax="close_announcement" data-overlay="false" class="close clearfix" title="{L_BOARD_ANNOUNCEMENT_CLOSE}"></a><!-- ENDIF -->
				</td>
			</tbody>
			</table>
		</div>
	</div>
</div>
<!-- ENDIF -->
With this css for problue

Code: Select all

/* style the announcement banner */
#phpbb_announcement {
	margin-bottom: 15px;
}

.phpbb_announcement {
	font-size: 1.1em;
	color: #AA0000 !important;
	padding: 0 6px;
}
css for all/theme/

Code: Select all

/* style the announcement banner */
#phpbb_announcement {
	margin-bottom: 5px;
}

.phpbb_announcement {
	font-size: 1.1em;
	color: #AA0000 !important;
	padding: 0 6px;
}

Working great. :clap4:

Just have one minor question on aeroblack. I know, always seems to be the troublmaker style. :lol:

The inner border? I think I got that correct is missing on the right edge by the dismiss button. Tried adjusting the margin for the button thinking it may just be in the same space but no go.

I'very been wanting to put aero black back up for testing. I'll check those out later. The .reported class used looks like it has it's own border for it's light red background. You should not have to add any other varibles. Except for maybe a bg color on .forumbg like tables has. In your aero black directory in announcements add to the top class, tbg then add in stylesbeet .tbg { background-color

Is that what dark visions forums look like? Or does it need a background to match the forum look?

Ok I think we have covered most of the issues with this style. I see a few adjustments in the css colors that need adjustment but that does not effect the style's function any. I think we have it working fine. The ucp avatar image needs some extra css to match the style is all I see. Unless we find something else out of place I think we are just about ready to add the sidebars back in. Let me know if you see anything else that needs my attention.

Will check the new version out. One thing I noticed a few days ago that may be fixed in this current version is the online image on occasion shows people offline that are online. Will try and catch a pic of it if it shows up again.

Noticed something about the who was here ext. You have it set up here for tracking who's been here the past 72 hrs but the index says (based on users active today) I believe it is tracking for 72 hours it's just not showing that option in the output on index. :shock: I've see the same on my test board.

That onlie/offline status is pulled from the user session on the board. With using the IF statements. If it shows someone that is online that they are offline then that is a board glitch not the style.

The who was online issue with the since the last time I have noticed also. That issue is coming from that extension and not this style. If the same issue is in other styles also then it's normally not a style issue.

But keep reporting if you see some layout or look of the style needs something in your openion. :cool:

Noticed a few things that may just be nit picking but thought I would bring it up and you can decide what's what. :)

Just added that one because we edited the index_body_stats_block_after.html file in it to add the panel class for problue. Thought maybe that something in the edit changed the output a bit. :shock:
